Paolo Genovese was born in 1966 in Rome. He graduated in Economics and Business and began his career in McCann Erickson, directing over one hundred commercials, receiving acclaim and awards for his work. After several co-directed fictions, Genovese presented his first solo project in 2010, film The Santa Claus Gang.
